To present an unbiased review, I must admit that I adore Corgis & love reading an author's first published book. It should also be noted that mysteries are my least favorite category & I dislike crime drama of any sort for entertainment or leisure. So, why did I give a virgin crime mystery novel with several Corgis in attendance my highest rating? It's because the writing is really good & in the end a book is about the writing. The characters are well defined with the perfect amoung of detail. I felt like I could pick any of them out of a crowd yet they weren't a cliche. Some elements are predictable, yet others will keep you guessing until the end. I finished this book in just a couple days which is really a great indicator of my level of engagement. Fabulous light read for a wide audience. Check it out Book Peeps. Can't wait to read what this promising author writes next!

.Perhaps I'm biased because I have two corgis and love the coast of Maine, but I loved this book! It was full of suspense and wit and I found the archeological topics very interesting. Dawn writes in such a way that I had a vivid picture in my mind of this amazing property the main character bought on the internet sight unseen. Her descriptions brought the book alive. You don't have to be a corgi-person to love this book. It's full of intrigue and mystery. The corgis just add to the story!

Started a little slow, but ended very strong!
I love corgis; I love mysteries so this book seemed like the perfect option. The corgi personalities are perfect and of course, adorable. They make a sweet addition. I found the protagonist a little annoying but her relationships with other characters, as the book unfolded redeemed her. I definitely recommend the book and while a little slow in the beginning, give it a chance and I think you'll appreciate the effort. I am looking forward to the author's next effort.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! In the interest of full disclosure, I am a corgi person (I have three) so of course I lovedthe corgi inspired parts! But aside from that I just plain out loved the book, corgis or no! The lead character sounds so much like me so I was pulled in right away. There was a lot about her that resonated with me. What a wonderful setting, too....oh to have that property! I felt like I was there. Loved this book and I can't wait for the sequel.

I ordered the book because of the title, and was really surprised at how good it was. When I read a book that is good, I can visualize the places and people. This book was excellent. By the end of the book, I was wishing it was a real place. Can't wait for the next book!

We just finished Corgi Cove, Love, love, love it! We ordered two copies, one to keep and one to give a close friend this Christmas. I so hope Dawn will write a sequel, there is so much more to this story!!!!!! A Must buy book for any Corgi lover and anyone who loves a good, well written mystery.

Jodi finished reading Corgi Cove. An enjoyable read with plenty of twists and turns. The author sure knows her corgis too, which is really nice to see. I'll be waiting for this author's next book
